OUR STORY
In 1972, our parents put the kids in the car and followed Sam Bazzanella down an unpaved foresting road to see some land he had for sale overlooking Scerks Creek -- which would soon be overlooking Lake Anna. Our parents made an uncomfortably expensive purchase in the hopes of establishing a family legacy, and it became the happy getaway place for four generations of the McBride family. Development boomed around the lake, but this quiet compound at the end of a private road kept its natural beauty and solitude. We now welcome you to experience a rejuvenating retreat from the world's cares and woes. Set aside a few days to make this place YOUR Lake Anna Retreat.
